- What are my printing options?
Printcopia offers a variety of ways to print your photos including:
- Canvas prints
- Basic photo-paper prints
- Acrylic prints
- Panoramic prints
We also offer custom frames in a variety of styles.
- Can I order different types of prints in the same order?
Yes, your order can contain any combination of our printing options from one (or many) of your original photos.
- Where can I upload my photos from?
You can easily upload your photos from the hard drive of your computer with our printing tool. Printcopia also makes it easy to upload photos directly from Instagram and Facebook.
- What file formats do you accept?
Printcopia can accept PNG, JPG, BMP and TIF files that are 20MB and under. If your file is over this size limit you can flatten the image, convert to RGB in 8–bit mode and save as a JPG at the maximum quality level. If you must send a file format not accepted online or a file larger than 20MB please call us for assistance and instructions.
- Does it matter what kind of camera I used to take my photos?
No. You can use photos taken with any type of camera including smart phone cameras, point and shoot cameras, and digital SLR cameras.
- How will the quality of my photos affect my prints?
The settings on your camera may affect the size and quality of your original photos. However, the Printcopia printing tool offers a variety of options to maximize the desired effect of your photos. The tool even gives you feedback on how your final print will look.
- How do I know if my photo is good enough to print?
Our online design tool has a sophisticated image resolution detector. If you load a file, it will indicate that your image is "good." If your image appears to be below that, you may want to upload a larger file. If you do not have a larger file and need our designers to improve the image resolution, we offer this service as minor retouching.
- What if I am attempting to find images on the Internet?
Many images online are low resolution and are not intended for printing. However, one way to filter for higher quality images is by going to the image section within the Google search engine. You would search for the item, and then click on "Show Options" and then on the left hand side choose "Large" or "Medium." If you're unable to locate an appropriate image, we do offer assistance with sourcing stock images. Contact us for a quote.
- Are there any restrictions on what type of photos can be printed?
You can print any digital image on canvas with us whether it be a photograph, painting or digital art. There are no restrictions on what subjects can be printed but Printcopia does reserve the right to refuse orders with questionable content. You must, however, be the copyright owner of the image or have obtained permission for reproduction from the copyright owner.
- I have my own scanner; what setting should I use?
Depending on how large the print is and how large you want to go, you should scan from 800 to 2400 dpi. Be sure to crop to just the image area so that the scanner surface is not included. Some scanners include software to remove dust and scratches automatically. If you still see a lot of imperfections and spots on the digital file, you can add Minor Retouching to the order and we will remove that.
- How long will my prints take?
The average delivery time for prints is 5-7 business days, and any order placed after 4 PM (CST) will count as an order for the next day. Express shipping is available for an extra charge. If you have a special rush request, please call us for assistance.
- How do I know you received my order, and how do I obtain a receipt?
Once you have submitted your order, an order confirmation containing your final order total, link to shipment status, billing, design proof, contact and shipment information will be emailed to you.
- Will my prints be safe during delivery?
Printcopia uses industry-standard photographic shipping materials that protect your order in transit. Framed photos, canvas prints, and acrylic prints are packed with special care.
- What if I’m not satisfied with my prints?

- May I make a correction to my order after it has been submitted?
Since most orders are transmitted to our production staff immediately upon submission, it is generally impossible to make corrections or changes to the design submitted for printing. If you have just placed your order, and want to check if changing it is possible, please contact customer service immediately via 1-855-803-0342
- How can I hang my prints?
Printcopia offers a variety of frame styles and mounting hardware which can be delivered with your order.
- Do you have frame options?

- Will my finished canvas look like the image on my computer screen?
Every computer screen displays images differently. Unless you have a profiled monitor, it may not display accurate colors. We always visually check that images look their best and do minor color-management at no charge to ensure a good print. If your image needs dramatic color adjustments, please select our Major Retouching and let us know you would like color correction.
- What printing technology and canvas do you use?
Our prints are giclee prints made from archival inks. The canvas is a cotton-based material. The finished product has a semi-gloss surface.
- How long will the canvas last?
The canvas material we use is archival quality and has a specifically designed coating for superior color gamut and resolution. Canvases are only intended for indoor use, but even in display of direct window light should still last for decades to come if cared for properly.
- How do I clean my canvas?
The canvases are quite durable and should resist most scratches, smudges, fingerprints, etc. You can dust canvases with a soft, dry cloth. If your canvas is damaged and needs deeper cleaning, you may try a damp cloth. If the canvas gets nicked and looses ink in certain areas, it can be touched up with felt–tip markers or paint.
- What stretching options are available for canvas?
We have several options for your finished canvas prints. All canvas are wrapped around a wooden stretcher frame with finished sides. The sides will be a continuation of your image, a mirror of your image or a solid color depending on your selection. These styles are available in two sizes 3/4" and 1.5". The 3/4" option is also called "Standard Stretch" canvas and can be used to fit into a decorative frame.
- If I order a Gallery Wrap, is the size I order the print or the finished product?
The size you order is the size of the finished product you receive.
